Visit to Bistro 6050 in Portage Park
We are very happy that Michael Rataj of Bulb Brain Creative submitted this guest podcast segment of an interview he conducted with “food artist” Roselle from Bistro 6050 in Portage Park.
Bistro 6050 has been described as a “pan-global” snack bar because it is more than a coffee shop or ice cream parlor but not quite a full-fledged restaurant featuring savory items such as “French velvet crepes” and “baked empanadas” prepared fresh in-house.
Mike reports that Bistro 6050 is currently offering about 18+ flavors of homemade ice-cream with flavors like jackfruit or horchata. These flavors have earned Bistro 6050 the title of “Best Ice Cream in Illinois” from “Eat This, Not That” healthy eating website. Their Nutella milkshake has also garnered praise.
From a business point-of-view, Roselle tells Mike about her “spy” visits doing research and development visiting and evaluating other successful food establishments in Portage Park and around the Chicago area.
Listen and enjoy the entire podcast above to hear more about Bistro 6050 located at 6050 W. Irving Park Road in Chicago.
