Chicago Eventologist Proclaims January 6th “National Smith Day”

We are planning to have Eventologist, Adrienne Sioux Koopersmith as a recurring guest on our Chicago Broadcasting Network podcast to share one or more monthly “holidates” with us including suggestions on how to specifically celebrate with a “Chicago Spin” beginning with National Smith Day, January 6, 2020.

Koopersmith was dubbed “Premier Eventologist in the History of The World”, in a 2001 interview by Eric Zorn of the Chicago Tribune.
Some of her “Holidates” created to make our WORLD a better, sweeter, and kinder place in which to live, include  National Smith Day,  Hug a G-I day, Lost Penny Day, International Skeptics Day, National Splurge Day, Little Black Dress Day;  Pay A Compliment Day, and Sew Be it Days.

She has created these “Holidates” as feel-good, anti-gloom events currently numbering about 2,500 in 39 different categories, since she began creating them on July 25, 1990 at 9:45 PM CST, here in Chicago.

January will focus on National Smith Day on the 6th of the month with some Chicago suggestions being: to meet a friend for lunch or dinner at Smith and Wollensky’s at Marina City; send a message to 43rd Ward Alderman Michele Smith and let her know you’re thinking about her; seek out some of the sculptures and drawings of artist David Rowland Smith at the Art Institute; visit either of the two Smith Parks in Chicago; try “The Smith” one of Chicago’s newest trendy eateries in the west loop near Kinzie and Clark; get a new hairdo at Smith and Davis listed by Elle Magazine as one of the top 100 Salons in America.
Give us some more ideas or let us know how you plan to celebrate National Smith Day by posting a picture on Instagram or Twitter using the hashtag #chicagoholidates or leave a comment here or at Facebook.com/ChicagoBroadcastingNetwork.
