From Housing Projects to Hallowed Halls

In this Authors Showcase segment produced for AuthorsBroadCast.com speaker, author, and educator Roger Prosise talks about his memoir “Housing Projects, Mansions, and School.”
This memoir begins with the author’s experience as a kid starting out in the innercity Cabrini Green Housing Projects then moving to Chicago’s middle-class Lakeview neighborhood, attending Jenner School and Lane Tech.
Prosise later became an educator and superintendent of schools in a posh North Shore suburb.
His book is a lesson about the importance of friendship, parental involvement, and education to achieve success.
