I’m Only Blind – Documentary playing now at Pickwick Theatre

SPECIAL ADDITION

I snuck in this review on the heels of Ashland Avenue because I”m Only Blind will only be at the Pickwick Theatre in Park Ridge until next Thursday, so for many of you this weekend might be your best chance to see it unless you’re available during the week.

Being blind is not Tim Paul’s story. The fact that he has refused to let his visual impairment dictate his life is what makes him an inspiration to everyone he meets. Be sure to listen to the podcast that includes a brief audio excerpt from the film’s trailer.

I met Tim through the Chicago Uptown Lions Club. He and I have each had the pleasure of serving as former presidents, several years apart. For this reason, I do not consider this a review of the movie per se but keeping in mind my positive prejudice I would like to recommend you check it out while you can.
