Raven Theatre Presents “Undeniably” Good Play
“THE UNDENIABLE SOUND OF RIGHT NOW” at the Raven Theatre really resonated with me.
Maybe it was because of the business point-of-view representing an aging business owner reluctant to pass the baton to the younger generation or maybe because of the all to close-to-home conflicts resulting from neighborhood gentrification.
Possibly it was the musical aspect of people trying to express themselves and share their emotions through the art form they love.
As a Chicagoan, I appreciated the allusion to “house music” that has its roots in Chicago.
No doubt all of this was enhanced by the very good performances of a nearly perfect ensemble.
On stage through June 16, 2019.
